Let me start by saying that I am an extreme novice when it comes to crochet, but honestly when I saw these I knew I had to ramp up my skills.
My amazingly talented friend came up with these patterns (as well as a few others) and just recently opened up an Etsy shop!! The patterns are inexpensive and super easy to follow. And she is so right when she said that it is rewarding to have a little critter in just one evening, as apposed to a blanket (if you have ever tried) that takes FOREVER.
I was thinking about what cute baby gifts these would make or that they would even be something you could attach to the top of a gift. And then it dawned on me that the next diaper cake I make will have these little darlings as decoration. I have to be honest aside from the Celtic sea salt caramels that I can’t get enough of these are my current obsession.
hello! I hope you had a beautiful Christmas and new year! Ive just been checking out your posts, I love your Christmas traditions!
ReplyDeleteIve never tried crochet, but after seeing these gorgeous characters, i might just give it a go, good luck!
So cute! I just started learning to crochet. So far my attempts have been...well, a little on the pathetic side. I'm waiting on a book I ordered called "The Happy Hooker." It's supposed to be a great beginners crochet book. Hopefully that will aid in my learning process. Good luck!
