Cougar Town Inspired Necklace: Tutorial

I have to say thank you for the sweet comments and wonderful questions about my newest creation. I thought it would be fun to give a little bit more detail into how I made it.

As I said in the previous post you can buy the wires with a hook already bent on one side like this….

Now for the fun part that will bruise your fingertips but give you such a cute result lol (I am certain there is a better way to do this but this is the way I went about it)

I finish it off by pinching it closed so it won’t snag your shirt :)

I slipped a little glass bead on every other piece and clipped off the excess wire with my trusty little wire clippers.

  1. so very cute and easy, I may have to try it and maybe my old retainer wire bending thumbs won't even bruise maybe a little since its been so long :)

  2. Jewelry making looks like so much fun, but I need another hobby like I need a hole in my head.

  4. Wow. Very pretty : ). Cougar town is a show, right? I am not very cool. And I don't have any wire cutters. I do LOVE the necklace though. Gorgeous!
