More of my favorite tips

Okay I know I recently did a similar post but sometimes you just have tips you have to share!!

My mother in law recently taught me that if you have something really baked on a pan (especially a crock pot) you can let it soak overnight with a dryer sheet in the water. And guess what it comes off like magic!!

I also heard a long time ago that if you have a stubborn zipper all you have to do is rub pencil over the zipper and it will fix it right up. Well I finally had a chance to test out this theory on a new pair of jeans and yep you guess it the trick worked like a charm.

Do you have any favorite tips you want to share?

  3. Loved your previous tip on washing the laundry detergent cap in with the clothes! I have also heard the tip about wiping you razor blades dry after use due to rusting/dulling of the blade.

I have some beauty tips... I have always heard not to use the same shampoo/conditioner when you run out but instead swap out your two favs... this will help with build up. I have always done this b/c I have to wash my hair pretty much everyday.

I have also heard not to wash out your shampoo all the way and then apply conditioner as this will help remove all the conditioner and not leave any residue.

One I am trying out right now is a weekly clay mask.

  5. I love these helpful tips. I'm not sure if this is a tip or not but I hate the smell of bacon in my house so I now plug my electric griddle in outside on my back patio and cook up a ton of it all at once and then freeze it in a ziploc bag. Then when someone wants bacon for breakfast or I need it for a recipe I just pop a couple of pieces in the microwave. And in about 30 seconds we have hot, smell-free bacon.

  15. Really? Wow, I'll definitely keep these in mind. Thanks so much for the tips. My suitcase zipper frustrates me to no end when it gets stuck, but I'll keep a pencil nearby when I travel. Or I could just buy new luggage, but this sounds way cheaper :p
